Vocabulary of the Apocalypse of Paul

In my paper I describe and compare the vocabulary used in the earlier manuscripts of the Apocalypse of Paul. The notable features of the grammar (phonology, morphology, syntax) of these manuscripts are already discussed, but their vocabulary is totally neglected in the special literature. In spite of this fact, the study of the vocabulary of the apocryphal writings is very instructive in judgement of their different versions. I carry out my research on the basis of the edition of Theodore Silverstein and Anthony Hilhorst: Apocalypse of Paul. A new critical edition of three long Latin versions. Patrick Cramer Éditeur, Geneve, 1997.
